ABOUT
Space City Rugby Football Club is a social men’s rugby team, and the only LGBTQ+ adult rugby team in the city of Houston. The team was founded in 2018 with the following objectives in mind:

Create an environment where anyone can enjoy the game of rugby

Be advocates for the inclusion of LGBTQ+ persons in all sports

Field a competitive rugby team

Help improve our community through fundraising and volunteer work

Help our players improve their physical abilities and physical health
Space City RFC is a member of International Gay Rugby (IGR), and a social member of Texas Rugby Union (TRU). The club participates in countless friendly matches with other IGR and TRU clubs, and competes in the IGR North American Championship and Bingham Cup.
Space City RFC is an official 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
